Yellow Ribbon Campaign

ACT NOW – Tie a Yellow Ribbon

The Tamil Diaspora and their supporters need to campaign to close down these camps. To help highlight thei existence we are calling upon people to tie a yellow ribbon around their gatepost, tree, window ledge, wherever it can be seen publically. The displaying of a yellow ribbon is traditionally seen as a welcome sign to loved ones to come home. The ribbon says we are waiting for the civilians to be allowed to go home.

The display will provoke interest from your neighbours and passers-by who will want to know what it represents. In this way we can help build public awareness of the camps and of the Tamils plight in general.
