Would the UN like a pat on the back from the Tamils?

While we sit and wait to find out which one of our fathers, cousins, uncles, aunts have been murdered by the Sri Lankan government this weekend, we wonder if the UN wants us to express our gratitude for warning us that a bloodbath was imminent?

“We’ve been consistently warning against a bloodbath, and the large-scale killing of civilians including more than 100 children this weekend appears to show that the bloodbath has become a reality,” U.N. spokesman Gordon Weiss said.
